Japan and Poland Partner up in Energy, Communication, and Infrastructure
The two countries agreed last week to extend collaboration in an effort to further produce low-carbon energy. The summit's purpose was to solidify their strategic partnership.
The Polish Prime Minister emphasised the energy dependence on coal for both countries, which means that both Japan and Poland face common challenges mainly in coal gasification technology. The Japanese Prime Minister also expressed his intentions of stepping up cooperation on nuclear power.
2019 marked the 100th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Japan and Poland, which was further solidified by their similar views regarding international issues during the summit.
